Okay well i am 18 and turning 19 in a few days. I have been dating this guy who is 26 for 1 year, since i was 18, and he just got his degree as a teacher at my school. Nobody knows where going out, and it'd be weird, cause it could get him in trouble. All the girls in the school think hes the hottest thing around. What is the deal with that, if ur 18, is it wrong to date a teacher? Or should i keep it secret?

it has nothing to do with age, it has more to do with his lack of ethics and professionalism.

babe its not wrong age difference does NOT matter. I dont think u should keep it a secret. First discuss it with him bc there should be no problem since ur considered an adult. An tell everyone to back off hes yours :)

I don't think it matters if you're 18 if you're going to the same school where he teaches. It could probably cost him his job. I would keep it a secret until you graduate.

I think it is well and good to keep this as a secrete because this issue will spoil your image in the society

Lots of teenage girls are attracted to older men in positions of authority/responsibility. It's taboo because you get old pervs, for want of a better expression, who try and use this to their advantage. It isn't ideal and he would undoubtedly have trouble from his employers if they found out.
However, as your 18 I shouldn't think it is illegal - in most countries you're an adult in the eyes of the law. In my country, the UK, where the sexual age of consent is 16, there are laws that stop people in positions of responsibility from having relationships with young people aged 16-18. As you're over 18 they wouldn't apply to you.
