My doctor just told my I have bronchitis, but I only came in because I had a runny nose, sore throat, and fever, but I didn't have any harsh coughing or coughing up anything. But this could be caused from stress of school work, the fires around southern California and the fact that even though my father smokes outside, I could still smell it.Could I still do stuff like go to practice colorguard?

I would get a second oppinion, the physician you first say my have just assumed you also had a cough. I would excuse yourself from practice so as to not infect the others unless your employer (military?) wont allow it. You may also find your abilities reduced due to your symptoms, especially fever. My guess would be you have a cold, although that could develop into bronchitis too, but without a cough I would be hesitant to call it bronchitis.

I would wait until the symptoms subside. Your primary concern is to take care of yourself.
