and trust while doing so. i was out of a relationship with a? ex and ended up going back with ex. Well a little time has gone by and she actually agreed to meet me for dinner. we had a great time, but when I spilled my heart she said not to give her any pressure. I try and hold out but end up texting her every couple of days. the other night when i did i felt like i was being annoying and told her i get the hint and thought dinner may have not been a good idea because all i want to do is talk to her. she sent a message back saying she was sorry she was not trying to be nasty and she was glad we went to dinner and that I was not bothering her. I just told her i was not giving up but i would leave her alone for now. I dont really know what to do?

It sounds like you still have a chance, but you need to scale back the love attack. Try taking her out for one or two more dates & calling her only once a week. If she still isn't into getting back together after a few more dates, then move on. I think that the two of you need to really have a heart to heart about what the both of you really want from this. I think that you want a more serious relationship than she does & that can ultimately kill off any chances of any sort of relationship between you two. The question is, are you willing to slow it down to her pace until she's ready to speed up? Just remember that she's an ex for a reason & that whatever caused the breakup will probably still be there.
