My dog was walking and just fell over without warning,

Sounds like a seizure, get your dog to the vet ASAP.

Sounds like a seizure. Call your vet. Usually, if the seizures are just occasional, they just let nature take it's course. If they become too frequent, they can put the dog on medication, but it's hard on their liver. Good luck! KJL

Yup, it was a seizure. We had a dog do it once, she was just running, then fell over and fitted for a few seconds. You need immediate veterinary attention, there is no other option if you want ur dog to survive. The next seizure might not be so small. Good luck.

For starters it would help to know what type of dog it is, because some dogs are more prone to have seizures. It sound like a it could have been a seizure and if it was short and not to Savior there is really nothing that can be done about it and I would not worry. Now if it was really bad to the point that it lasts more then a minute, and they start happening every day or so then I would seriously consider taking it to the vet. But for a small dog having a seizure is not uncommon and I wouldn't worry about it.
