Bad breath

If you know somebody close to you who has a bad breath, how would you say it to him without offending him? What is the best method to get rid of this?

Facing this kind of situation is very hard and I don't want to offend my friend but his breath is really hard to manage.

In private, tell them that it is an awkward conversation for you, but you're having it anyway because you care about them. Tell the person you really hope it won't come off as offensive, that you just want to help.

Bad breath can be a symptom of bad oral hygine, but it can also be a sign of larger digestive problems.

Saying it in a nice and honest way will do. No matter what you really need to tell him/her for his/her own good. Just be nice and make him/her feel that you are concerned.

It could be that they are simply not brushing/flossing properly. Just tell them in private, so they are not offended.

People usually only get offended when you say it publicly when others are around as they think you are trying to make them look bad, or are just saying it to p*ss them off. :eek:
