How long before your due date is a good time to

stop working? My due date isn't until March 19th but im being induced on the 11th. I am beat. I have four other kids and a lot of stress in my life. When do you think is a good time to start staying home?

Well, I can't take off work until the baby is born! Maternity pay doesn't kick in until the birth of the baby!Im planning on working up to the day I pop!

If you're really tired and you can afford to be off now, then ask your doctor for an early leave. Personally, I'd try to wait a little bit. Maybe you'll go into labor early and not have to worry about being induced. I worked up until two days before my due date. And planned on working on my due date, but baby had other plans =) Good luck

I worked until 38 weeks. Induced at 39 - but I was so huge and uncomfortable that I couldnt hardly move. The bad thing is though that just laying around for a week made the week go by sooooo slow. Do what your body is telling you... if u are exhausted then maybe go to part time for now. Or get off a few hours early each day for a nap before the other kids are needing you.
