mental problem? When my boyfriend was in a healthy state, I really feel he love me intensely and he was my soul mate. However, due to the stress of exams, Every one month and a half my boyfriend repeats his "Severe Depressive or Schizophrenia Mood", he becomes another totally different person. I fully give him my heart and patience to take care of him. However, he says I am ****ing crazy in return. He denies his illness. He told me he does not have any feeling and does not want to see me any more. He refuses to answer my phone calls. When I try to help a mentally sick person, the way he treated me make me feel depressed for next several days. He has frequent episodes, I am sure he will recover soon or later even he does not admit that. However, I just want to know "do I still need to take care of him", I love him and I treat him as a patient with full of empathy.

You may not need to "Take care of him". If it is bringing you to a point in your life that you are unhappy, you need to let him go.Some people are better suited in life to deal with this type of person.I mean there is no need to just turn your back ..In fact that usually makes things worse .You can be there as a friend but you do not need to be a crutch.

I think you have his perception, but with ideals about not being loved and thats what makes you love him even more. What you need to do is turn the situation around and make him feel comfortable with you and reply every is going to be okay if you relax, focus, concentrate and belief.
