okay so i have acne on my face..forhead ,cheeks and a few scars that i want to get rid of. Currently i have Proactiv but i dont think im going to use that because ive heard so many bad stories about people getting worse after using it. My mom kinda mad since she bought it and i wnt use it anymore :/ so i dont think ifi asked her to take me to the dermatologist, she wouldnt. She always say when ask her, "ugh you are never happy" all i want is to go to the dermatogolist. They're the only ones who know what type of skin i have..what should i do?I dont eat met,Vegetatarian and never eat Frie food and grease oily food,ETC. Its not base on your diet

okay you need to try the AcneFree products. they are AWESOME!! they have the same 3-step procedure as Proactive, but works no matter what. give it a while though, a week or two, you won't be sorry. plus it's cheaper and you can get it at the store ;)

ask your mom nicely if you can.Its for your...health so she should be more than happy to take you....Although she did spend money, maybe you can do some chores or something to make it up to her?

drink 10 glasess of water a day. simple and effective.also, a candida cleanse would also eliminate your acne fast.then after candida cleanse a colon cleanse with some pills or fibers.

I think you should give the Proactive a chance. Use it until it's gone. Since acne comes from the inside out, it is natural that people will experience a greater breakout when starting a regime. The greater breakout is because the acne is coming to the surface faster because the regimen is working. You have heard "bad stories", but you are the only person with your skin. YOU try it for YOUR skin.Just yesterday I was on this wonderful site, go there and look around. He has many good tips about acne, even if you don't buy his line of products. www.acne.org and also, www.DanielKern.com
Uhm.. Wash your face?I really don't know. That's all I got haha.I just wash my face every night.I Haven't had a zit in about 7 months. At least you don't have freckles. They're worse than acne because they never go away.My face is covered in them. =(

proactiv is the BEST stuff i have EVER bought for acne. i had it REALLLLLYYYY BAADDDD!!!! but then after like a week of using proactiv my skin was clear i was like whoa!!! i think you should give it a try . they wouldnt make a product that would make u worse. and also celebs use it. i highly doubt they would use something that would worsen their acne... =)

drink a lot of water and eat a lot of green veggies. like salads. dont eat chocolate. and wash your face everynight. and take you makeup off before you go to bed if your wearing any.
Besides taking care of your face using facial products, also must look into your diet, less fried and oily food, more vegetables and fruits will do you good.

If you don't try the pro-active you'll never know if it really works for you. Maybe you should try it but use 1/2 as much as they say. If you get bad results stop using it. If you're on vacation from school, now would be a great time to do it. Dermatologists are expensive but so well worth going. They can treat you and get your face to start clearing up with medication and topical creams. But you have to follow their advise and do all that they tell you and as often as they tell you. By the way, I've only heard good things about pro-active but maybe you should look it up on Consumers Report and find out.

my brother took a medication that cleared his up, definately go to your family doctor and see if a prescription is recommended for your condition.here is an article that may helphttp://www.skincarephysicians.com/acnenet/treatment.htmlalso, if you havn't tried the proactiv treatment, maybe applying it only in one spot and seeing if it works, atleast you can tell your mom that you tried it.here is some more great advisehttp://teenadvice.about.com/library/weekly/aabyb101801.htmI don't know anyone who hasn't had some acne problems atleast at some point in life, so I'm sure you would just like to see it gone, like the article at skincarephysicians.com said "Resolution takes time" so patience is important to have when dealing with acne.

According reasearch many anti-acne products are known to worsen rosacea symptoms. Medical experts strongly urge rosacea sufferers to stop using these products. Rosacea is a common skin condition that affects many Americans, but it can also spread to the eyes and cause a constant gritty, burning sensation. I have been in search a product that works on my skin, I finally found it on one of acne rosacea review site. I use ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin, and I saw results in weeks! I recommend it to anyone who has suffered through various dermatologist prescribed ZENMED Skin Support System - Cheers
