Since about the beginning of November, I've been getting pains in my left hand, mostly right where the hand bends. It is in my right too at times, but it's worse in the left. However, in the past, I have had problems with my knees and lower back hurting where they bend, on the joints. I'm a 16 year old girl, and I've probably had those knee pains since I was about 12. Does anyone think that could be a possibility, or do you think it is something else?I'm 5 feet tall and about 118 pounds, if that helps.

No one can diagnose you but a doctor. If you are overweight, that would definitely broaden the list of things it could be.If you aren't, it could still be growing pains, weak bones, arthritis, strains from physical activity, and sure, maybe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.
