I'd ring the hospital to check, but it'll probably wear off in the course of today. My throat was in a mess for a week after mine, and my chest sort of tight for a day or two.Did you have a general anaesthetic? If so, that's probably why. I had the throat spray and it was AWFUL. Never again.

When I had my scope done last month, it was the worst experience of my life!!I had the same pains and in my throat...best advice??Just sleep it off and suck on hard candies.. I felt really bad for about a week.

Well with the endoscopy the eosaphagus may have been irritated and in turn this would feel like chest pain. Would not worry too much but ifthe pain persists for 2 days + would suggest you see your GP.

You do not say whether you had your throat frozen or if you had a general anasthetic. If you had your throat frozen, the day after symptoms are usually a sore throat (due to the tube going down your throat) but if you had a general, pains in the chest can be an after effect as well as a uncomfortable throat. These usually go away within two days, if not then I suggest you consult your GP
