i know there are a large number who have committed suicide. but there are a lot who haven't so i guess i don't really know.

I don't think they have any mental problems. They just view sex as a service, in a business sense. They probably don't even enjoy it.. they just provide a service without any emotions attached to it. And they get a cardio while they're at it lol.

I believe that there have been several studies done on Adult Actors/actresses. I believe you could write to the Adult film group and get copies of these published studies --- finding them on the net may not pass filters due to the topic. If you are doing a study that is for a college level or above you may be able to write a grant proposal to investigate the children of adult film artists. The study would need to be longitutal --- but it would be interesting to design and conduct. But it could not be done by the unprofessional
