Yep - light cramping that feels much like period cramps is very normal throughout the first trimester. It's your uterus stretching, making room for baby! If you have any spotting/bleeding or the cramps become severe, call your doctor or head to the ER. Otherwise, all is normal. Congratulations!

I thought I had kidney stones or something whwn I was that far along...plus I thought I was just really late...I didnt find out untill I was 6 weeks!! But as long as theres no bleeding you should be fine! Just let your doc konw at the next appt. Youll feel better when you see the first ultrasound and know the baby is in the right place and whatnot. But I think its just your bodys way of gearing up for a long 9 months! Congrats!! And good luck! :)
