We got him as a kitten 2 years ago from a shelter and found he had a uri (upper resp. infection, or the common cold). We were told while it's equivalent to the common cold in humans, it can be deadly for cats, especially kittens. He sneezed a lot and seemed drowsy; he always slept under blankets as if to keep warm and refrained from eating. After getting injections from the vet, he was more lively and seemed ok.However, ever since then he's been a constant sneezer. Sometimes its worse than others, such as lately he's been seeming feverish again and sneezing a great deal more. I was most disturbed to find that while sometimes he sneezes up yellow, infected type mucous, that sometimes it's bloody. I know I need to take him to the vet, but my mom seems to be putting it off because it's so damn expensive. Anyone else ever experiance this with a cat?
