Bra's can cause breast cancer

I have heard that part of the reason why so many women are infected with breast cancer nowadays is because of the BRA's we are wearing especially the underwired bra's. I am currently fond of using underwires, so I am quite alarmed.

How true is this?

The theory behind this is that bras inhibit circulation, therefore causing abnormal cell growth. There is absolutely no evidence of this. I actually asked and friend of mine who is an OBGYN about this one night at the bar and he told me I had more to worry about from the drink in my hand;)

yes bar cause the possibilties of cancer. i read in a newspaper that dark colored bra causes the more possibilities of cancers. like black color bra is the one which is being used by most of the women.

so avoid using black color bra a nd panties.

Sounds like an old wives tale to me - breast cancer risk factors are family history, obesity, previous benign breast disease and exposure to ionising radiation. My textbook doesn't say anything about bras, but I'd be interested to hear more about that research.
