the only thing that makes that illegall is if you guys were doing stuff sexually. You don't have to be a certain age to date someone. Hope this helps!

Yes he would go to jail here.. for the most part 18 years old is the age of consent, in *some* states it is 17, but for the most part its 18... so I'd just wait till then.

If he is 18, you have to be 16 for it to be somewhat legalcause 16 is the age of "consent"nothing wrong with that thoughwho cares what people think in USA?age is but a numberIm from the UA hahahah
Depends on which state you live in.... some states allow for marriage as young as fourteen (with parental permiission).

There is no law prohibiting dating of a minor (you) and an adult (him). However, any sexual relations between the two of you would, indeed, be illegal until you are 18.

In the US, the "age of consent" is 16 years old in most places. So when you turn 16 you are legally allowed to "Be with him"

its only illegal if you two are having sex. and its only punishable if your parents press charges, its up to them... and you would have to be 18, but it sounds to me like it wouldnt even apply if you two arent doing it

Im pretty sure that in that case it might turn over to the 3 year difference rule.

Usually there cannot be more than a 2 year age difference if one of the parties in the relationship is a minor. Your boyfriend could go to jail for this because in the US this is considered statutory rape...however, it has to be proven that you both are having sex.

In the USA your boyfriend would not go to jail for being you boyfriend especially if your parents approved but he could go to jail for whats called statutory rape if he had sex with you before you turn 18.

The age of concent for sexual relations in the US varies by state from 14 to 18. See the table at http://www.coolnurse.com/consent.htm

it is not the raletionship that isn't legal . it is the asummed sexual relations that would send him to jail. If you are wanting to get married than you have to get parental permission. and you would be nuts. I am 27 and getting married is hard work. you are only 15. why would you want to do that already. even if you love him you are too young to be in that kind of relationship.

actually you just have to be 16 in most US states. it isnt an illegal relationship, just sex would be illegal. he would not go to jail unless you were having sex. why would dating be illegal? its like saying you cannot be friends with someone who is 18 if you are 15.... its nonsense. so you would be fine. the usa is not that crazy though we are pretty nuts and getting really fat and it seems every girl over 15 is having sex nowdays and that needs to stop. too many teen pregnancies like everywhere. yuckos.

it has to be over a 4 yr difference for it to be ilegal. and if ur with him b4 he turns 18 then your legal. and the only people who could turn him in if it wasn't legal is your parents or his.

it depends on the state you live in (age of consent ranges from 15-18, depending on the state) and the law concerns sexual relations only. Statutory rape laws are only enforced when there is a complaint issued (usually by the parents of one of the people in the relationship). Age of consent laws exist because children are not always aware of their responsiblities and the consequences that could result from some of their actions. They also exist to protect children from predatory adults.Usually when one member of the couple is legally an adult and the other is a minor below the age of consent, as long as there is a maximum 2 year age difference between the two then the courts will drop the complaint. They will go by the year that you were born to determine your age. If your boyfriend is turning 18 this year and you are 15 and haven't turned 16 yet, then he is still only 2 years older than you.
