I think it's very possible to have a relationship deeper than friends, if there are feelings there. If you have intense feelings, then you can make it work. But what I don't understand is there are so many people out here looking for love and commitment why would you feel like you had to force a relationship on your friend? That is a little odd. But,, eventually you will have feelings for someone you are intimate with and in a close monogamous relationship. If you care about your friend and he is the one asking you, look at him in another point of view, like as a bf. Would he make you happy? If you think maybe he would, you can always try it out. There are people in some countries that never meet their spouses until their weddings, in an arranged marriage, that end up in a loving marriage. You will never know until you consider the possibilities.
