does anyone know a "humane"way to keep cats from walking all over the hood of a car?

If they're your cats, keep them inside. If they belong to your neighbors, ask your neighbors to be responsible pet owners.Otherwise, you can use a supersoaker to squirt the cats when you catch them there - they should soon get the picture. If you have an outlet outside, you could also place a scat mat on the hood.

It depends on whos cat it is. If it is your cat then that is a different story.If it is a stray cat then take a coon trap and put food in there. Once you catch em take him to a shelter,they'll know what to do. Thats what I do. Now if it is my cat then I usually go out there and pop them with a newspaper and tell them no. My cats respond to that.

Try black or red pepper. I use it on my garden. It washes away in the rain so you're going to have to reapply it.
