...fact that people get mental problems, hate & kill each other for senseless reasons? Animals kill only to eat, as pets they love rather than hate, and they react in a totally predictable way, while humans are totally unpredictable. How could humans evolve from animals, when most animals act much saner in almost every situation, reflecting a much greater intelligence than humans demonstrate in the way they live their lives? If humans evolved from animals, humans must be evolving in a downward spiral. Isn't this obvious, and the only real evidence for questioning the theory that inferior humans evolved from a superior animal form?

we were like that until we began to gather together in cities and construct artificial beliefs, ie "Religion".Read the books, they all originated from cities and they all speak of being superior. But go back to tribal society and they teach you that you are one with the world. not seperate or above.

If that's the BEST argument against evolution, the worst ones must really suck. Sorry, that makes no sense at all.

No, it's not obvious at all that people are evolving in a downward spiral. All people don't act the way that you say, therefore it is not the norm. Even other primates have criminals in their midsts, and they are animals. And animals do murder. Male lions will murder a lioness's cubs if they don't belong to him and he wishes to impregnate her. By killing her cubs, she will go into estrous. Human minds are complex...due to evolution. You don't know much about animals if you think that they behave in a totally predictable way.@>}----}----AD

Not all animals just kill to eat, Foxes for example will kill as many chickens as they can if they break into a coop. And a lot of human behaviour can be explained via theories such as "eugenics". you need to read into these things before you assume your idea is correct (thats what science is all about).Below is something for you to read and it won't seem so "obvious" as you so wrongly put it

en.wikipedia.org (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics)

Animals can be just as psychotic as humans under the right conditions. There is plenty of evidence for that, just look at the discussion about attack dogs like pitbulls or zoo animals about 30 years back. In addition you don't understand that evolution is not goal directed. It doesn't "improve" animals or humans, it improves the way they are adapted to their environment. If you look at exclusively cave dwelling animals, they all lost their visual sense in comparison to the closest related species. If you are a visual being like humans, loss of sight is not a sign of perfection. If you are living only in the dark, there is no point to eyes, just the energetic cost of building them. In evolution there is no up or downward direction. Unless you understand that you haven't really understood the theory.
