Hi Dustin, I also suffer from acid reflux. Nexium worked for me but the side effects were bad so I switched to Prilosec (sp?) and it seems to be working. Mylanta is good for break through heartburn. I have had good results with Zantac and Protonix as well. It would be best to make an appointment with your doctor and let him/her prescribe a medication. Don't let it go because over time it may do further harm. I hope this helps!Good luck!Becky

Acid reflux is painful and can eat away the lining of your esophogus. Are you working with a doctor? How old are you? If you are overweight, losing weight will definitely help with the reduction of heartburn and acid reflux. Stay away from spicey foods, caffine and other things that are triggers.Get working with a doctor would be the best advice I could give you.Good Luck.
