Don't get all "spazzed" out because she says Happy Holidays! There's not much of a difference except for that Merry Christmas is actually used on Christmas and Happy Holidays is used, for example, season's greetings! Best of Luck! :)

Saying "Happy Holidays" spreads the true intention of Christmas ( which is sharing and giving to ALL, not just Christians) without making people feel that YOU think they have something wrong with them because they don't worship as you do.Christ didn't only love the people who practiced his faith, He loved EVERYONE and had respect for EVERYONE and your bf is just trying to be respectful to people whether or not he agrees with thier faith. That's all. That's really kind and thoughtful and Christian-like, in my opinion.Why don't you enjoy the belessings you have received and stop worrying about words.
