Im 24 and have never suffered from period pains....EVER! If Ive never had them before is it possible I could get them now??Im experiencing a dull ache in my lower back but slightly on each side. Also it feels a little like poo pain! (sorry!) I have missed my pill a couple of times and am due on on friday, Ive read that when you're pregnant some women experience period like pains. As I have never suffered with them, am I getting them now, or could it possibly be pregnancy pains?Thank you in advance. My breasts/nipples are sore to touch but only seems to be later on in the evening and night time. Ive got a bad tast of iron in my mouth, my gums are a bit funny at the minute too, not had that before! (very healthy teeth and mouth!) Im so confused!!

if you was pregnant, i think that you would know about it, there would be tell tale signs like, sore, tender breasts, missed due date, morning sickness, if you aint experiencing these then i doubt that you are pregnant, period pains feels like labour pains, if u have never experienced these the id say it feels like some 1 stabbing you in the stomach with a carving knife. but i think that you are feeling abit of bowel movement, hope i could help.

did you recently have unprotected sex? how many pills in the last week or two have you missed? are you due for your period now?if you're not due to have your period, have missed several pills, and have recently had unprotected sex-then it's highly possible that you are pregnant.periods cramps can cause lower backpain and lower abdominal pain (like a dull ache)these are also symptoms of early pregnancy (uterus stretching to make room for the baby). but pregnancy symptoms usually come in groups of 2 or moreother symptoms are-nausea/vomiting (most common in am-"morning sickness")-sore/tender breasts-possible spotting (egg implanting itself into the wall of the uterus)-fatigue-frequent urination-odd food cravingsif you're have any of the above symptoms along with the cramping-i would make an appt to see my dr asap.if you're overly worried about-get a home pregnancy test and check yourself. just do it first thing in the morning after waking up (hcg-the pregnancy hormone is highest at this time).if you end up not being pregnant (unless it's what you want) then consider yourself lucky. make sure you're taking all of your birth control pills otherwise they aren't worth taking-they can't work effectively unless all of them are taken and they could mess up your cycle if not taken properly as well.LATE ENTRY-the metallic taste is also a pregnancy sign (but usually doesn't show till the 2nd or 3rd month).are your gums bleeding all of a sudden? this TOO is a pregnancy sign.i hate to scare you hon but you better get checked out or take that at home test!!AND FOR THE PERSON THAT COPIED AND PASTED MY ANSWER ONTO THEIRS-USE YOUR OWN INTELLIGENCE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS!!!

Obviously you should take a test.If it proves to be negative , hound your doctor, i didn't have period pains and then suddenly started with them i was found to have a of a condition called endimetriosis, basically what this is -is your body does not release all the menstrual blood and some seeps out within your abdominal cavity, it can stick to anything and in worse cases cause cysts, , keep a diary of pains and your cycle, you may be developing adhesion's,Have you had your appendix removed? This is what triggered my adhesion's off, it can feel like either a knife twisting inside or someone twisting your internal organs. I used to get a burning sensation in my lower backPlease do not leave it, I have had several operations and due to the adhesion's and endimetriosis am now infertile.I do not want to scare you but the female body is so complicated it can be something or nothing, but you will not find out without seeing a doctor, I was 26 when diagnosed and fortunately I had had 2 children young. Irritable bowel syndrome can also give you the pains you mention..PLEASE SEE A DOCTOR

Yep, sounds like period pains. I get them sometimes- it's not fun. Just drink lots of water and relax. They'll probably be over tomorrow. I don't think it's pregnancy pains as I have never heard of this before (especially not in the early stages of a pregnancy).
