I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (treated so far unsuccessfully for a year and half with metformin) and this last month have developed very bad kidney pain. In the beginning I thought it was just kidney stones, I've had them before. But the pain doesn't move downwards the way a kidney stone does.Anyone familiar with any relation between PCOS and Polycystic kidney disease? And just how serious is polycystic kidney disease?
