My doctor thinks I may have lung cancer after...

...telling me I had the flu.? We have to wait 3 weeks before I can see a doctor to do a biopsy. Early tests don't look good. How can my wife & I tell our teenage son because he has to know but on the other hand, he is our youngest and I am closest to him. All the other problems I've had in my life seem stupid compared to this. Should we wait until the biopsy or prepare him for what might happen?
