Heart problems at the age of 20?

I've been having this strange heart palpitation: It feels like my heart is skipping a beat, and right after that I have to catch my breath. The "skip" lasts about a second, and immediately it feels like I need to catch my breath back for a few seconds. so pretty much this thing lasts anywhere from 3-4 seconds. It's been happening for the last month, at first it was once a week, to every day for the last week, now it's been happening several times a day for the last 2-3 days, today it happened nearly 30 times.... thoughts? You think it's my heart, lungs, or something else?

this could end in your sudden death if you don't go to the doctor. My father had his first heart attack when he was 24. Luckily i have healthy heart. But its very possible to have a heart attack at 20. No joke. Go see the doctor please.

i think you should go to the doctors it sounds like you have a heart merma this is what they call a irregular heartbeat they can find out for you by putting a ekg on your heart does not hurt at all no pain at all but this will tell you if you are having irregular heartbeats God bless you and Good luck
