aided the Mujahadeen? The U.S. aided the Mujadeen in Afghanistan in the 80's after the Soviets invaded. UBL was one of them. You would think they would have appreciated this.I know that people often cite the fact that the House of Saud told him "Thanks, but no thanks" when he offered the Mujahadeen to remove I raq from Kuwait in 1991. However, this seems like such a petty reason to do a complete 180 on your position. Furthermore, he got the whole Mujahadeen to do the same and form Al Qaeda.Am I missing something here? Your take?

He is the definition of intolerance. If you do not think exactly like him, you cannot be tolerated, it is his duty to God to kill you. And when he does, he proves how much he loves God.Don't bother trying to understand him...if the thought "live and let live" ever passed through your mind, you will never be able to get him.

During the 90s Gulf War President Bush asked permission of King Fahd to establish military bases in the Saudi kingdom. King Fahd refused, stating that U.S. military bases in Saudi Arabia could destabilize the Kingdom. After Bush repeatedly asked permission as well as assuring King Fahd that the bases were only temporary, King Fahd finally agreed. President Bush lied. After the close of the war the U.S. failed to close the bases as promised. Osama Bin Laden wrote a series of letters to King Fahd respectfully requesting that the King demand that the U.S. close its Saudi military bases. The bases remained. Soon after President Clinton took office the WTC was attacked, followed by attacks on the U.S.S. Cole and U.S. Embassies in Africa. Clinton also refused to close the bases. Soon after President GW Bush assumed office Al Qaeda attacked on 9/11. Several months later, President Bush finally fulfilled his father's false promise and closed the Saudi bases to little American fanfare.

They hate America because of our freedoms. They morphed into religious radicals. And in doing so grew to hate all countries not under Sharia Law. The most free country is the US. We are infidels. Meaning we allow our people choice.

Because we are not his type of Muslim. Helping the enemy of an enemy does not mean he is your friend. He needed us to help him and we needed him to hurt the Russians; never a friendship or even liking we just had a common enemy.
