...up on thursday. Will THC be shown in my urine or blood? I only have a yearly check up not a drug test. So will i be booked for doing marijuana, with urine or my blood. People told me it stays in your body for upto 30 days, but its undetectable after 3-4 days. Is this true? I also heard that doctors don't check for drugs when taking a urine or blood sample. You have to ask them for it 2 b done. Is this true also?...I'm so scared...Please Help Me

Even if they do find drugs which I'm not sure they check for, it cant be disclosed. Those are your personal medical records and there is patient confidentiality. The doctor has an obligation to keep your information private as well as anyone who works in the hospital, plus the HIPPA law as well. Dont be scared, relax, pot does make people paranoid. LOL You'll be fine.

THC in the urine "CAN" be detected for up to thirty days and in the blood for up to a year depending on the amount of fat in your body. THC is stored in body fat and depending on the amount of THC and the amount of body fat, This will determine how long it will be in your system. It can even be detected for a longer period of time through a hair follicle. There is a doctor/ patient confidentiality agreement that does not allow them to disclose this information to anyone, not even the police. However if it's for work through work then they have a right to the findings if they so desire. It may not hurt you now, but your blood sample is now a paper trail so to speak. If there is THC in it which there will be it has now been documented that this is when THC was first found in your system. If you get hurt at work or in an accident and hurt someone your "paper trail" will be looked at as far back as it goes especially by prosecutor's.

Nope, for a normal physical they are not checking you for drugs, that costs extra.

Stays in your system for 31 days - and if you go into say a "urgent care" and they suspect you're on a drug YES they can test you but it's a panel that is already premarked on the requistion form that has only a few of the "street drugs" that are commonly used by people on daily basis. As far as testing you for a "drug panel" that is normally very expensive and most aren't willing to fork out the cost ( ranging from 160.00-375.00 a panel of 10-14 drugs.) I worked at SBCL and actually set up these sorts of "panels" for my Clients (Hospitals etc)
