yes they do. If he/she has an infection it can make then very ill. Please take your dog to the vet. In future give him/her chews/biscuits.There is also dog toothpaste.

yes, dog is also get toothache. That is why it is adviseable also to brush his teeth regularly, or give him big bone, it is to strengthen his jaw and at the same time he is cleaning his teeth. calcium is to be given also.

Dogs should not get tootthache and their teeth should never require cleaning. I have giant dogs (over 88 pounds in weight), some over ten (human) years of age. None have ever had toothache, all still have all their teeth in excellent condition. I give mine cardboard boxes to tear up and chew and this does the job for them. If the ink on the boxes is not toxic, they can eat them, as they provide cellulose, which is a type of "sugar" or carbohydrate, or roughage.

dogs do get tooth ache, you can usually tell when they do because they go off their food, and sometimes whine. they sometimes also chew things to try to get over the pain.you can actually brush dogs teeth, there is a special toothpaste but you only brush them gently. you can also buy dental chews out of any store such as asda, which helps their teeth and also fights decay

Yes dogs can get toothache if you suspect your dog to have a dental problem please take it to the vets for treatment. I have got a 13 year old Jack Russell cross as well as a 8 month Jack Russell puppy with the 13 year old her breath was smelling bad I was brushing her teeth with a dog tooth paste but then I noticed some of her teeth were loose I took her to the vets and was informed she would need a clean and properly teeth removed well she was taken into surgery she had her teeth cleaned and had 5 teeth removed I was told that a dogs teeth are very important and they need to be looked after as any decay could lead to the dog being very ill. My advice would be to get the dogs teeth checked regular and to use a well known dog tooth paste every 2 days brush your dogs teeth. I learnt the hard way.
