Chinese jok (rice soup) is supposed to be good for clearing toxins from the intestines. There are plenty of recipes for that online, but just keep in mind to not be fancy and hold back on the meat and salt.http://www.millennium-healthcare.com/newweb/articles/traditional_chinese_medicine_articles/chinese_herbal_diet_tumor_patients/chinese_herbal_diet_tumor_patients.htmIf anything sounds too weird then it is best not to try it, but the lettuce soup at the very bottom of the page sounds pretty good too.

Colorectal cancer has many different characteristics according to the etiology (the origin). Is colon cancer familial in your husband´s family? The young age would make think so...DO you know whether his family was diagnosed with FAP (familial adenopolyposis)? Or if he has HNPCC (hereditary non-polyposis colon cancer)? Or again if he suffers from IBD (Intestinal bowel disease), especially Ulcerative colitis? This information is essential to work out what is the best treatment of the disease.Feel free to contact me directly or through our website: my lab work on prevention of colon cancer but my boss is a known gastroenterologist that also cures sporadic colorectal cancers.Good luck

organic food can help. pomegranite juics, watercress, blueberries, as long as he keeps taking medication from an oncologist too

I'm a rectal cancer survivor from 7 years ago.I can understand the frustration and helplessness that you must feel.If you want to help out, there isn't really much you can do.Good nutrition to keep him strong is important.Vitamin supplements help. The really important factor is his mental state. When someone is dealing with a potentially fatal disease they understandably become depressed and don't take care of themselves.Make sure he is getting good medical care and goes to his appointments. There is much hope for the future.
