I have asthma and it's really bad. I get it from the dust, when I do sport, even if I laugh really hard i get it.Everytime I sleep then wake up during the night, I always get asthma. I first got asthma when I was 5. I use the Ventonlin/Inhaler EVERY single day and a preventer every day and night (sometimes)I was just wondering, if I forget to bring my ventolin with me somewhere and I get my asthma, what are some good ways to make my asthma like go away...?Even if I try to relax and take deep breaths , it doesn't work...I will still have shortness of breath and will still be wheezy! Please help me, I want to try and not use the Ventolin as often...I wish my asthma went away!!!Thanks for helping me....x

You must use that 'preventer' inhaler everyday and try to make it a habit and when you started to have coughs you must immidiately use a inhaler u must use to get well or better orelse it will not go away i see the news on tv that if you buy ingredients to make crocodile soup in the herb shop, it will maybe cure your asthma and will make you harder to get asthma but if you think it is too gross ,i guess you have to use that inhaler everyday!

If you have allergies to dust, try not to have too many things in your room, so dust dont stay, dont have carpet in your room, A good sport to do is swimming, relax the lungs.Use eucalyptus oil (some drops) at night, in a cooking pot with boiling water, close windows and breathe it all night.Ask you doctor for a machine, ask him about alupent (o.5) and salinic water, you relax, breathe through a respirator and youll feel much betterNo cats, Dogs, BirdsHave your chest covered and dont get colds, vitamin c is superDont eat food with colorantsdrink cofee, very goodwhen you get a cold, or your chest is congested, eat greasy food, like Kentucky fried chicke, the grease will make you loose the congestion from your chest, also good take rounds of butter (olive size) in sugar and swallow itVitamin C is goodDont stay by smokersGatorade is good tooI took care of muy son and he is ok now

I feel for you Rock Chick,For years I've watched my daughter, an asthma sufferer just like you, struggle with personal battles with her breathing. We did everything the medical experts wanted us to do but sadly, she isn't getting better long term. We are now researching alternative remedies which a lot of asthma sufferers are recommending. Here is one company I found on the internet that is specialising in naturatherapy for asthma sufferers. I think it's worth taking a closer look. http://www.cityretirement.info.Good Luck!

Asthma is a lung condition that causes a person to have difficulty in breathing. People having asthma are having their airway passage inflamed. This inflammation narrows the airways and makes it very difficult for the air to move. Some ppl. are over sensitive to certain things like smoking, exercise and dust. So take precaution when you know these conditions may trigger the attack of Asthma.
