For the past week or so I have muscle pain in my calves.I havn't been doing any exercise and yet the soreness and pain is there and won't go away.It is also associated with weakness.I have thyroid problems as well(underactive) but have been on treatment for five years. What could it be?I am struggling to walk.thanks

Try hot and cold water, pour hot and cold (room temp) and after some time try salt water it works for me

It could be scatica but this is usually only in 1 side. With an under-active thyriod it could point ot fibromyalgia. Do you have pain anywhere else? If it is fibromyalgia due to your thyriod (which isn't a proven diagnosis yet) it may not be too bad yet. As my thryiod starts to drop my pain gets worse and worse starting with just a little pain in my calves. If you get any other pains, particularly 'random' sharp pains even if there just there for a second, it could be fibromyalgia, which unfortunalty isn't always treated from sorting out your thyriod.
