For the past three days my left kidney has felt swollen with a dull twinge of mild pain. Pain is not enough to make me take pain killers. This has been accompanied by off and on chills and fatigue. I have taken my temperature and it is normal. Have been drinking plenty of water and lemon water to try and flush them out. I really don't feel it's making any difference. Other than that I don't feel sick, it's just tiring to try and do stuff, like laundry. Mainly it's uncomfortable and I can tell something isn't right.I drank a lot of soda last week studying for finals, also been very stressed out.I do not take any meds.Have a family history of kidney stones, but I've never had one myself.I do not have health insurance, so going to the doc would be my last option. If anyone has had any similar symptoms and can relate, that would be helpful. Thank You.

You need to get checked out for kidney stones. if left it can deteriorate quite quickly. do something now. find a free clinic on the web. good luck. Our NHS is free here in the UK and we don't have to worry about going to the doctors or the hospital. it's just there for us all no matter what we have got in the way of dosh!!!
