the best thing to do is just take an advil and rest, or put some ice on it and use orajel

Honestly, it won't go away until you get it fixed by a dentist. In the meantime, take an anti-inflammatory like Advil or Aleve (not Tylenol).

Ok all i have for a home remedy is salty water,gargle it for five minutes,it will be kinda nasty,but it helps,after doing that,just call your dentist and make an oppointment.Good Luck!

Oh Yeah...Do I Honestly if you have whole cloves at home put it directly on the sore tooth...carefully...I've done it and it does help...the asprin not so good from what I've heard...Check out the cloves....really works

You can take 600-800mg of Motrin every 4-6 hours as needed. You may be able to get by with some over the counter stuff like orajel, but the best remedy is going to see the DDS. These things should not go on too long.In he mean time look for signs like, does it hurt when I drink hot or cold stuff? Does it hurt to the open air? If you said yes, these might be signs your tooth is affected to the nerve & might need a root canal. Or maybe you have a pre-existing crown, bridge, or filling on this tooth, it could be that you have some recurrent decay underneath. Get to the DDS fast :-)

I exactly aggree with you. I ever experience this before, the toothache pain effect my brain also until Im couldnt sleep. I try everything but still the same so the last resort just going to see the dentist. Waa.. I feel better after that once they doing some minor operation.
