Try getting a microdermabrasion. They take all the dead skin off your face and let new cells appear. The machine basically scratches off your old skin. And yes youll need to use cream/lotions during the process. Your skin will be very sensitive espessially to sunlight. But it worked for everyone whom ive known that has had acne. Best of luck..!!

Look, i know u said u don't have access. But my skin is exactly like yours, I didn't help my skin doing anything. And proactiv, made it worse. The only thing I HAD to do was go to a dermatologists. Family nphisians prescribe a form to the dermatologists, but no written medicine

Yes, family doctors can prescribe acne meds. In fact that is what I would recommend. It sounds like you need to take an oral antibiotic for awhile in addition to topical medications--that's what my daughter has done. As for the scarring, about the only thing I know of is laser treatments. That's kinda pricey so not an option for most people. If the combo of oral meds/topicals work for you, than maybe you can try an at-home glycolic acid treatment to address the scars. Avon makes a great "peel pad" and it's very reasonably priced. It won't help for deep pitting, but may smooth some things out so you can feel a little better about it. When you are able to get your acne under control, the only makeup you should use is Bare Minerals--you can blend it on your skin so that it doesn't make your scars more noticeable like liquid makeup. It also isn't bad for your skin--just make sure you wash you brush all the time! It won't hide all of your skin flaws but really helps minimize--again hopefully it will help you feel better. A good face moisturizer to try is tricky--go for no scents or dyes for sensitive skin, and add a little acne lotion and mix them before applying to your face. That way you'll have continuing acne control, but it won't make your skin all dry. Good luck.

My GP prescribed me Differin which is a gel that you put on a clean face to treat acne. It's helped me a lot especially with redness and swelling. I've had problems with face moisturizers being too thick too. The last thing you want to do is clog your pores. Make sure whatever you get is very water based and believe it or not, makeup companies like este lauder make really good moisturizer. (I use their daywear and it never makes me break out.)As far as acne scarring, I think a doctor would be able to help you with that too, but I know Maderma works for acne scars too. I've used it to try and soften scars from surgery and it's helped a lot.Good luck with your skin!

Sorry to hear that you have such serious problems with acne. It's not fun. I've been there.Don't worry about derms. They couldn't help you anyways. Same goes with practically all the acne treatment products on the market. They are next to useless as they approach the problem from the wrong end.The good news is that acne is relatively simple to fix - once you know what causes it and how to deal with it.First you need to understand what causes acne. If you said bacteria and sebum you are 90% wrong. Yes, they are part of the equation, but only a small part. Focusing on them will not get you clear - as I'm sure you know.Acne is a complicated condition and it doesn't have a single cause. To explain it in detail would take too much space here. So I'll just give you a heavily summarized version.Your body is in a state of imbalance. These imbalances mess up with your hormone levels and trigger the skin to produce too much sebum. They also weaken the immune system and p.acnes bacteria gets out of control. They interfere with food digestion and abortion. So you don't get the beneficial nutrients from the food you eat.For more detailed explanation I suggest that you take a look at this page: http://www.natural-acne-solution.com/what-causes-adult-acne.htmlTo cure acne the only thing you have to do is to bring your body back into balance. You need to tackle it on many fronts:- diet- exercise- maintain positive mental attitude- detox and give your body some time to repair the damageAt first blush that may sound like a lot, but it's much easier that you may think now. And once you get to it you'll notice that your acne disappears on its own. No pills or creams required. For more info on how to do it check here: http://www.natural-acne-solution.com/how-to-cure-acne.html

As an acne sufferer for many years, I know first hand the pain associated with this stubborn skin problem. I've tried all of the things you listed and none have worked for me either. However, I have found the Dan's Kern Regimen to be very helpful, mostly in prevention. Here is the article that describes the step by step procedure for Dan's Kern Regimen and why it works so well: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/156522/dan_kerns_regimen_how_to_clear_your.htmlFor the flat red acne marks (they are not really classified as scars since they are not indented), there are several procedures available on the market that have shown pretty good results. The following article lists the top procedures and products for treating the flat red acne marks (also known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation): http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/272997/beauty_products_and_remedies_for_hyperpigmentation .html
