i have a question i'm 13 and every lady in my family on my moms side after my great grandma has had breast cancer and on my dads side every lady after my great great grandma has had it. everyone has got before the age of 30 and the youngest to get it so far is 16. no one has died from it though! and out of all those girls only 5 people have lost one or both breasts. How much at risk am for getting it, like whats the percent chance. do you think it's possible i already have it i feel many bumps in both my breasts? what should i do to prevent it? HELP!!

I have 2 women on my mother's side who had it (my grandmother and her sister). My grandmother died from it in February 2005. I go to my yearly exam...very important for cancer screening!....and my gynecologist suggest I have a mammogram at age 30. The usual age is 40, but since I have pre-dispositions...and also do a monthly self exam.
