why is it that people consider miscarriage as being abortion? I just did a search on abortion and people were saying God is okay with abortions...and even one person gave a scripture about instructions from God with abortion.What are your thoughts? I've never heard anyone call miscarriage an abortion. Miscarriage is something that happens naturally and outside of anyone's control. Abortion is a specific, conscious act by an individual.Edit: Those posts are trying to claim that a miscarriage is just an abortion caused by God. The usual follow up is that if can can commit abortions then so should people and/or of you condemn a woman for having an abortion you should condemn God as well.It only makes sense if you consider every natural death a murder committed by God (which to me isn't very logical.)

I think miscarriage is sometimes referred to as spontaneous abortion, meaning it was through no fault of the woman's. There were a couple verses when he advocated bashing babies upon the rocks for some reason. And I wasn't aware that miscarriage is the same as abortion. Sometimes a miscarriage is referred to as a "spontaneous abortion." Is that what you meant? Generally, though, miscarriage is unintentional, and abortion is intentional.
