a lot of rest. good nutrition. follow doctors orders. good luck and feel better.

I had a partial hys. 5 yrs ago. Removed my right ovary, tube and did an ablation. I went home 30 mins after I woke up. WAY too early for the women's hops. I had it done at. The regular hospitals keep you until you feel better....several hrs. Maybe overnight.OOPS.read the question worng:Several days of rest. You may need help the first day or so..I did.

I'm not a doctor, but I would say at least 6-8 weeks to get over the surgery. If you have to have cancer treatment after the procedure, it may take longer. Good luck and God Bless. I hope you have a speedy and full recovery.6-8 weeks is usually the recovery time for most major surgery.
