My husband has tried everything to quick smoking, patches, pills, gum and nothing has been successful. I recently read about hypnotherapy for helping people quit smoking. Has anyone else heard of this? Does it work?

Not only does it work, but it is the best solution to quitting smoking. I used hypnotherapy myself to get rid of my TV addiciotn! I'm sure it'll work with your smoking habit as well. All the best!

I think it works when someone really wants to quit.
My best friend tried it. After the session they gave her an "I quit smoking button"
She walked out to the parking lot and lit one up;)
She calls it her $80 button:P

The only best way to start quitting lies within one's determination to let go of the habit. And also encouragement from loved ones will help, but still it all depends on the smoker.
Just think of the harmful effects and start slowly. You cannot quit in just a day or a month, it sure does takes time.

Therapy works but if you really want to do it.I think your husband does not need hypnotherapy. He has to think about it and make himself believe that he can quit smoking.Thats about believing what you want to achieve.

Hynotherapy is a very good way to stop something. I think it is one of the best ways - I cant remember but the percentage was quite high compared with other methods like going cold turkey or group things.
