...following strep throat? I have been living with muscle pain and weakness in my thighs and calves and my arms. Also muscle spasms in my legs. I have recently developed a painful spasm in my throat. Also pain in my hip and the inability to lift my foot more then a couple inches off the floor because of pain. This all started with Strep throat. I am uninsured and I am hopeing maybe someone might have a better idea of what is going on. Nothing seems to help. The Doctors have me on Darvocet so I can move around and do normal day to day tasks, otherwise the pain gets so bad I just want to fall to my knees and crawl, or not move. When the pain gets bad, my muscles don't want to respond well at all. My arms tremble when I hold moderaltly heavy things when they're hurting...like a coffee cup. My legs also tremble if I am active for over 20 minutes or so. Does anyone have any ideas? I am completely stumped and it seems the docs are to. My next step is a Neurologist...when and if I can afford to go to one.I am not looking for products to help stop the pain...I am looking to see if anyone knows that the issue could be, it keeps getting worse and its spreading to other parts of my body. It started in my thighs and my right arm, its now my calves and my left arm, as well as muscle spasms in my throat and tired jaw when chewing. Just doing simple tasks like stirring something causes my arms to hurt. And I'm not talking stiring anything thick either.
