one having it? Okay, I just found out that my Nana/grandma just found a lump on her breast which is one of the many signs of breast cancer. Is there high rate she does have it, I'm kinda worried about it.

If it hurts then more than likely it is not cancer. If it does not hurt and feels like b.b. s then there is a need for concern

Of course you are worried about your Nana. She will have to have a lumpectomy which is the removal of the lump and they will send it off to have it tested, and in about a week or two, she will find out if it is cancer or not. If it turns out to be cancer, lets hope it will be isolated to just the that lump, but if not, the world will not come to an end. she will more than likely undergo treatment either way, if it has spread she may have to have a mastectomy (removal or her breast and all tissue) This too is not the end of the world, it will prolong her life. Yes it will be very emotional for all involved. But the most important thing is to remember that beauty come from within.....and you must begin checking your self for lumps every month, and so will your mother.I do hope all turns out well

There is no percentage to determine and there is no way of telling without doctor checking it. Lumps mean very little as it could be a number of things. Try not to worry until you have to.

She needs to see a doctor immediately. And don't believe anything anyone tells you-such as if it hurts it isn't cancer. Mine hurt and it was invasive carcinoma. All RULES don't apply to cancer. It is what it is. For ANYTHING, go see the doctor immediately.
