If you're getting acid refluz, it's most likely because you are taking something with too much calcium in it. Calcium stimulates gastrin and gastrin promotes acid reflux. Try an all natural product like Gingera Antacid. It contains ginger and is fda recognied. You can easily find it by searching for Gingera Antacid. Good luck to you!

My mum had this for years and years before something was done about it. Eventually she got the camera test done which showed that in fact they caught it just in time as the acid had caused damage to her oesauphaugus. She had been taking rennies for years but apparently this was the wrong thing to do. She now has to take a medication called losac mups every day. Her problem was simply an over production of acid by the stomach. She now has to be careful in what she eats, no hot or spicy foods, no white bread as its harder to digest, no citrus foods. She drinks green teas and peppermint teas and always has to have something to eat before going to bed.Co insidently my aunt recently had a similar problem, she experienced the heartburn for a considerable time then started vomitting blood, turned out to be an ulcer.Might be an idea to ask for more tests or a second opinion, see a GI Doc if you can get a referral.

Have you considered a hiatus hernia? This is caused when your stomach pushes through a small defect in your diaphragm. The end result is that the muscular sphincter which keeps your stomach contents in place becomes ineffective, allowing gastric acid to leak into your oesophagus causing heartburn, especially when you lie flat. Your symptoms also fit with this disorder. Heartburn in hiatus hernia occurs after lying down and nausea is also common. Hiatus hernia can be helped by having smaller meals more often, not having a big meal before bedtime and raising the head of your bed. Unfortunately gaviscon will not help very much as you really need medication to reduce your stomach acid. Go and see your doctor again. I hope you get relief soon.
