pregnant? In the past I have used medication for anxiety disorder, but now I'm pregnant and that is not an option. I'm having some stress because of morning sickness, worries about losing my job, and the baby's health. I've heard biofeedback can be useful for dealing with anxiety. I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried it. Also, does insurance usually cover something like biofeedback, or would I end up paying for it myself?

Yes it helps. Also try writing in a journal & take yoga classes. My friend swore by these. Not sure if you'll be covered for bio., but yoga can do @ home, buy simple yoga cd's

I think biofeedback or something similar such as hypnosis or self-hypnosis might well be useful for you in dealing with your anxiety. I think whether insurance would cover it is determined by your insurance agreement, and I can't say generically whether it would help.Dana (Counseling M.S.)
