brain and lung cancer? the man has about 5 days to live, refuses to eat or drink (hard to say since he can't speak), and is being pumped with morphine for the pain. my mother says that he should try to send him to the best cancer center, but he says that he might not have a chance. my dad has saved hundreds and hundreds of lives, has made people cancer-free, and given hope to thousands.... don't you think it would be right for him to try his best and to try and save one of his dearest friends? he has a total air head wife who is responsible for him, and she doesn't give two shits about him....

You have to realize that the cancer must have taken a while to develop and get to the point it is right now. He could have gotten help then, not now where it is almost too late. You cannot control how others lead thier lives. U may want your dad to help, but maybe his friend does not want any help and has made his peace and is ready to move on to whatever awaits us.

It sounds like he's past the point and should just be kept comfortable. Cancer does kill people even with the best care on the planet. If someone says that he's only got 5 days left, his organs are not doing their job and are probably too damaged to heal. This is going to be hard on your Dad. If he could do something, he would. I'm sure he knows that pain relief is probably the only choice right now.Don't be too hard on the wife. You don't know what she is going through right now and things are about to get really hard for her.PSIf I'm dying, I hope I have someone like you and your Dad on my side.
