Why is it that the only freedoms that liberals

There is a huge margin between control and help.As it is, the government does control abortion, just not as strictly as you apparently want.There are also laws about gay marriage, and in some states that's allowed, so the control isn't want you want there either.The right of free speech is not to be abridged, that's law too, right there in the Bill of Rights.Laws are what we use for control.The control is there, its just not what you want, but it may be what others do want. We can't run a country on what one person wants, we try to go with a majority on most things, not a noisy minority, when we go the minority route, the legislators find they don't get re-elected.

How come conservatives want to limit what we believe in.We believe in right of the individual to be free from intimidation from the government including religious intimidation. I personally believe that my religion is my business and God's. And if I choose not to witness like the Pharisees, in a loud and obvious way, but only by the example of my life, that's my business.I believe that corporations have the right to strip a society of its resources, including its labor resources. But I also believe that the society has a right to compensation beyond the bare wages paid its citizens. And that only Government can exact this compensation.Why does granting equal rights to a tiny segment of the population deny those same rights to the majority that already has them?Why shouldn't adults have the right to choose not to be parents.

Oh, for God's sake! I don't want "the" government controlling our lives. I want MY government HELPING US with things WE consider important. There IS no THEM. Our government is US! Now you and I might not easily agree on just What is important. That's what POLITICIANS are for... professional TALKERS, DEBATERS, RESEARCHERS, ARGUERS. Because if we can't just sit down and TALK about our differences, then SOME BODY'S GONNA START SHOOTING. Yeah, totally agree to that. It seems that most of their morals don't have any basis in the Bible, and I'm christian. But they don't always want free speech, not when it's against gays...lol. And I hate it when they want to control our lives and give money to people who haven't done a thing for our country and also don't plan on doing anything!!! ugh...this insanity needs to stop!
