I Have a Daughter who Had Breast Cancer 5 yrs. ago. She was 4I then. She had surgery, and radiation for several Months........Has been squeaky clean Since! We Are Thankful to God ( She claimed a Healing from Him) and Praise Him continously. She did no Chemo.....and was very active all along. Just Pray about It and Leave it in God's Hands. He is Able to deliver You, my dear. I will be Praying a Prayer cover over you also. Nothing is too Big for Him. Only Trust Him.. Amen > Jeremiah 33:3 Victorious Prayer Warrior

I had a lumpectomy 3 years ago. I was out of work for about a week. There was a little pain, but it was not horrible. I didn't have reconstruction after that, so Im not sure. I think it would depend on the type of reconstruction you need to have.I also had a mastectomy in October and will be having reconstruction in January. I am told that my recovery will be 2 - 3 weeks.
