My friend has told me that if I wrap cling film around my torso and my thighs I will lose inch's if I leave it on all day even if i am just sitting round the house and doing the odd bit of polishing and hovering?

It makes you sweat so you lose a load of water from the body, hence the weight loss. It just comes back when you drink though. It can make you dehydrated and cause fainting.

The only thing i think this does is cause u to sweat. It might work in the same way as when they wrap the body up in beauty palours. I dont think it will be very good for your skin tho!I think the best way for weight loss is exercise and watching wat u eat tho.

It can help loose inches due to water lose. But, it could also cause dehydration. And it comes right back. They do a wrap type thing here in the US where they do the plastic wrap with a stretchy bandage type wrap over it. But, it's the same thing. Just loosing water.

it partially blocks your sweat in covered areas thus preventing the sweating to help to cool your skin and, thus, your body. you could overheat. but you will sweat more and the sweat will pour out around the edges and you will lose water. when it is all said and done, you will just replace the water but you have lost some mineral along with the water. cannot see much good in doing such a thing. just go sit in somebody's hot car in the sun and sweat like a pig then get out and go drink some gator aid. what is the point?

no, all you will lose is sweat which may provide a small, temporary weight loss but you will gain the weight back as soon as you drink anything.Do you not think that if this did work there would be a lot more thin people going around? The only way to lose weight is to eat less and excersise more.

Only if you put it on your mouth.

All you loose is fluid. As soon as you take the film off and quench your thirst it will be back!
