b)...fitness can measure through ur V02 max...therefore its really important to improve the cardiorespiratory performance...its a good measure too for athelets

I would have to say (a) because without that, the rest would be difficult to achieve.

b) I think because this exercises your heart which is the most important muscle in the whole body.
