I'm assuming this is somewhat normal, but I need to know why it's happening and how to stop it.A) I'll drink strong coffee in the morning, and go to school to get awful pain in my gut. Then gas. Then I need to rush to the washroom, squirm in pain for a few minutes, then, er, *cough* expel waste. Sometimes in the runny form.B) Same thing with being nervous. I can convince myself I'm not nervous about something, but somewhere in my subconsicious I must be, because whenever there's a text, exam, person I'm looking forward to seeing of the opposite sex, etc, nearly the same thing happens. But worse. It happened this morning, even. I can say with confidence that it is the most excruciating pain I have ever felt - I'm usually reduced to writhing around and praying it stops...Help?

It sounds like you have a spastic bowel syndrome. There are meds that you can get from the doctor for that. Go into your doctor and tell them what is going on and I am sure he will give you something to calm down your problem. Good luck!

OK! You have a two fold problem, in my opinion. 1.) There is caffiene in coffee! Caffiene is a natural diuretic (make the body get rid of water). This is non-discriminating, meaning you can lose water through excessive urination or through anal excretion. Also, coffee is a natural laxative!! So, you are getting hit two fold! Question: Do you put creamer in your coffee or a milk product? If so, you may be lactose intollerant. This would explain the gas. Bacteria ferment the milk product in your intestine and cause gas to form.2.) I also believe you may have a nervous disorder. Anxiety can cause stomach disorders because of the release of adrenaline during periods of stress! Adrenaline is your body's defense mechanism and by-product of stress! This can be bad on the stomach! You may want to consider Xanax (Alprazolam) or another anti-anxiety medication. Hyoscyamine Sulfate is another really good medication that relieves stomach contractions in patients with IBS (irratable bowel syndrome).I hope this helps!! You may also want to get tested for gastrointestinal ulcers! They are caused by a bacteria known as H. pylori. They eat holes in the stomach lining and cause pain when eating or when you are under stress!!
