...someone who has been diagnosed as bipolar? I'm already on medication which so far has my mood swings under control as for therapy i'm doing that as well,I just feel it's not enough.

Working with a therapist is the way to start. In fact, effectively managing the illness means always having a therapist in your life even if it's only a monthly check in. From there, it really depends on your mood phase and where you are at in getting a handle on overall management. Naturally, all the tips and tricks on stress management apply - exercise, diet, mindful activities, not taking on too much, etc, etc.~bipolar

Talk to your therapist. Each person has different needs and can function at different levels. I am Bipolar and practice good self care. I have a routine I stick to each day. I don't chastise myself if I do not stay with it but, use it as a daily guide for me.

Hot bath with some candles usually calms me down especially after a walk or a run. It helps me get in touch with how Im feeling and also helps my muscles relax.
