...is beyond that of a mans, is this true? I realise that women have the pain of childbirth. But we men get equally as bad, the extraction of nasal hair.Oh man that hurts and it's more frequent than childbirth too.

no theres even anatomical evidence of that women have a higher pain threshold we get our eyes tweezed and pay for it think nothing of it for you guys who will eventually put us in situations where we have to push melon sized progeny out from you know where then we come back home tell you pple we love you and get 4 more beleive me we have higher pain tolerance

No, it's false. It was on QI a while ago but I can't remember why. It's something like men have twice as many nerve receptors than women so we feel pain more, but despite that, we can hold out in painful situations longer than women.http://www.lse.co.uk/ShowStory.asp?story=VT414797N&news_headline=men_cope_with_pain_better_than_women %3E

I think its true and you wouldn't understand unless you every gone through child birth natural with no medications. Extracting nasal hair is like a walk in the park...LOL.

I believe it is true for most men! Women have period cramps every month and give birth. When a man has a sore head its like, 'Call the doctor out I think I'm dying'. Not all men but most! Women know how to deal with it and move on!As well as that, women get waxed and tweezed! That just as bad as nasal hair being extracted!

lol, good question. women are supposed to b able to sustain more wear and tear because in nature the females have to reproduce and then b able to survive to protect and maintain their offspring. but i guess it depends on the person really.

~Tell me that you aren't comparing the removal of nasal hair to child birth!Yes, women do have a higher thresh hold for pain than men, that's why we are the ones that give birth.BTW, we have hair removed from all kinds of places, including the nose. Some use razors, some tweeze, and some wax, especially in the genital area!~

I believe it could be true. Childbirth looks to be one of the most painful things ever and I don't think there is anything that it can be compared to in a man. Men never admit that they think it could be true because they think that they will be less of a man if they have lower pain thresholds that women - which of course is very untrue.

hahaha nasal hair! Try getting your bikini line, underarm, legs waxed. And then have a baby. Then you'll know what pain is

why do women get colds and still have to go to work and look after kids and run a house but when men get a cold or should I say the flu they have to go to bed?. If there was a way for men to give birth would you volunteer? and women also have nasal hair extractions.

I've never known any women that can deal with pain extremely well, except for of course childbirth. You may want to look at the difference between pain threshold and pain tolerance... two entirely different things. It may be difficult to scientifically determine who is better at what.

False even some of ur answers confirm this of course that first one about pushing a melon size thing out a pea size hole. and she had the nerve to blame guys.it is not men's fault that we cant give birth. pain is a thing of the mind a person male or female can be hypnotised to not feel pain. and childbirth isnt the top thing on pain. ask anybody thats had major dental work done. pain is relative to the person no matter what the sex. thats why some pain meds help some and not others

No. that's all crap. But women always try to say that they're better than us in every way. That's how stupid and insecure they are. They know that they are much weaker physically than us. They keep giving childbirth as an example. I say shove it. Childbirth isn't the only pain on this planet. Ask someone who has kidney stones and they'll tell you it's more painful than childbirth. Besides, many women nowaday take some kind of drugs to make'em feel less pain. Don't listen to what those so-called researchers say. They keep coming up with weirder stuff by the minute. Next time you're with a girl tell her to grab your arm as tight as she can, then you do that to her and see who will start screaming first.

Depends on your view.Generally speaking, men have a better threshold for pain. It's not me being macho its a scientific fact. This is why mens sickness insurance is less than womens.HOWEVER since men hae a higher pain threshold, they don't go to the doctors anywhere near as much as women, and this is why men critical insurance is higher than womens. Statistically, men are LESS likely to go to the doctors but MORE likely to die BECAUSE they never went to the doctors in the first place.Yes, us men can be pretty stupid!

There is no such thing as a pain threshold-just pain tolerance and everone is different. So id doesnt matter if youre a man or a woman it depends on who you are.
