foot problem? do you know what it is .?

my husband has had dry itchy cracking on his feet and between his toes which is very painful for 16 years. we are sure its not athletes foot since that is contagious and no one has ever had a problem after contact with him. ive been with him for 5 years and nothing . so what else could it be?

make sure your husband dosent wear colored socks or the insides of the shoes arent colored.My dad was allergic to teh dies in socks and shoes and his feet would do that .Now he wear only white socks and shoes. He only wears balck socks on funerals or something like that. Also he need to medicate them daily with moisterizers and special soaps .....good luck

It may be athlete's foot because it is not that easy to catch it. Your husband's Doctor would need to examine a scraping of his skin under a microscope before you would know for sure that wasn't what he had.
